Judith Blucheau, RD, Nutritionist

I am passionate about what I do, and I want to share my knowledge about nutrition and spread the word to everyone I meet: The key to health is a balanced diet!

I am a graduate of Université Laval's Nutrition-Dietetics program and have been a member of the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec since 2003. After completing my studies, I worked for close to three years as a clinical nutritionist at the Montreal Heart Institute. It was there that I developed an expertise and keen interest in heart health.
Today, I specialize in health promotion. This entails speaking regularly at conferences and encouraging everyone I meet to eat well.

My passion for informing people about healthy eating soon led me to work in communications and media, as a contributor to programs such as Kampaï! À votre santé, which is broadcast on the Radio-Canada network. I also write a nutrition column in the Montréal Métro newspaper, and I authored a book entitled Alzheimer – Recettes de vie (Alzheimer's - recipes for life), published by Les Éditions La Semaine.

As spokesperson for Health Check, I'm extremely proud to represent the Heart & Stroke Foundation. It's a role I can sink my teeth into!
